Use this interactive demo to learn how to sync GitHub pull requests directly into your Coda document.

Quick summary

This tutorial shows you how to connect GitHub to Coda using the GitHub Pack so you can sync pull requests into your document in real time. Once integrated, your team can track PR status, review activity, and development progress without ever leaving Coda.

Steps

  1. Open your Coda document and click the Insert button in the top toolbar.
  2. Navigate to Packs in the Insert menu.
  3. Select GitHub to integrate task management with your document.
  4. Click Sync pull requests to begin the integration setup.
  5. Click Sign in with GitHub to authenticate your account.
  6. Click Authorize Coda to grant the necessary GitHub permissions.
  7. Enter your password and click Confirm to verify your identity.
  8. Click Complete setup to finalize the GitHub Pack configuration.
  9. Click Choose what to sync to select which pull requests appear in your Coda document.

📌 Why this matters

Tracking GitHub pull requests inside Coda eliminates the context-switching that slows engineering and product teams down. By connecting the GitHub Pack directly to a Coda document, teams can monitor PR status, review cycles, and repository activity alongside their roadmaps, sprint plans, and documentation — all in one place. This integration gives non-technical stakeholders real-time visibility into development progress without needing direct GitHub access. For teams already using Coda as their operating system, syncing pull requests is a high-impact step toward a fully unified workflow.
