This demo shows how to schedule Google Calendar meetings automatically from Coda using a Zapier automation workflow. By connecting a Coda trigger to a Google Calendar action, new rows in Coda instantly create detailed calendar events without manual entry.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin building your automation.
- Click "Trigger" and search for Coda as the trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event such as "New Row" or "Updated Row" to define when the automation fires.
- Select the Coda account you want to connect to your automation workflow.
- Configure additional settings for your Coda trigger to refine the automation behavior.
- Click "Test trigger" to verify that Zapier is reading data from Coda correctly.
- Add Google Calendar as the Action App in the next step of your Zap.
- Select "Create Detailed Event" as the action event for Google Calendar.
- Connect your Google Calendar account to authorize Zapier to create events on your behalf.
- Select your calendar and map Coda fields like Meeting Title, Date, Time, and Location to the corresponding Google Calendar fields.
- Run a test to confirm the entire workflow executes correctly end to end.
- Click "Publish" to activate your Zap and enable live automatic meeting scheduling.
