Quick summary
A Notion vision board lets you organize and display inspirational images in a structured, multi-column layout using built-in image blocks and drag-and-drop tools. You can source images from Pinterest or Google Images and arrange them directly inside a Notion page without any third-party plugins.
Steps
- Create a new Notion page and enter a title; optionally add an icon and a banner.
- Use Pinterest, Google Images, or similar tools to find and collect inspirational images that match your vision and style.
- Back in Notion, type the slash command /image to search for and insert an Image Block.
- Upload an image to the block or insert it using a link from your chosen source.
- Note that the upload block only accepts one image at a time, which can slow down building a full vision board.
- Instead, drag and drop multiple images directly into Notion at once for faster image collection.
- To create a column layout, hover over an image and use the 6-dotted handle to drag it beside another image.
- Resize images and add as many columns as needed to achieve your desired board layout.
- Use the spaces between images to add text blocks and headings, just like any other Notion page.
- Your Notion vision board is now complete and ready to inspire!
