Quick summary
Notion lets you add emojis anywhere on a page — either as a page icon or inline using a quick colon shortcut. You can also set a global skin tone that applies to all applicable emojis across your workspace.
Steps
- Hover over your page title and click Add icon to add an emoji icon to the heading.
- Click the Skin tone icon on the right side of the emoji search bar.
- Select your desired skin tone from the available options.
- Confirm that your selected skin tone now reflects on all applicable emojis across your page.
- To insert an emoji inline anywhere on the page, type a colon (:) followed by the emoji name, such as :wave or :car.
- Select an emoji from the list of results to insert it into your content.
- Your emojis are now live and visible on your Notion page.
