Quick summary
This demo walks you through integrating Wachete with Slack via Zapier by building a Zap that automatically sends Wachete change-detection alerts as Slack messages. You will configure both the trigger and action apps, authorize each account, map data fields, and publish the automation in under 12 steps.
Steps
- Create a new Zap and click the Trigger button to begin setup.
- Search for and select Wachete as the trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event from the available options for Wachete.
- Log in and authorize Zapier to access your Wachete account.
- Click Test trigger to let Zapier pull sample data from Wachete and confirm the connection is working correctly.
- Search for and select Slack as the action app.
- Select the action event you want Slack to perform when Wachete detects a change.
- Log in and authorize Zapier to access your Slack account.
- Map the data fields from Wachete to Slack — such as email address and role — then click Continue.
- Click Test step to verify the Slack action fires correctly with the mapped data.
- Rename your Zap by clicking the Untitled Zap button and giving it a descriptive name.
- Once everything is confirmed, click Publish to turn on your Zap and enable the live integration.
