Steps
- Click 'Create' and select 'Zap' to start a new automation in Zapier.
- Click 'Trigger' to begin configuring the trigger step.
- Search for 'Slack' and select it as the trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event such as 'New Mention' or 'New Message Posted to Channel' based on your needs.
- Authorize Zapier to access your Slack account and select the appropriate workspace.
- Click the 'Test trigger' button to fetch sample data from Slack and verify the connection works correctly.
- Search for 'Microsoft To-Do' and select it as the action app.
- Select an action event and choose 'Complete Task' for your Microsoft To-Do list.
- Authorize Zapier to connect with your Microsoft account.
- Select a task for your action.
- Customize the task details as needed.
- Click 'Continue' and run the test to validate the action step.
- Click 'Test step' to confirm the action executes correctly.
- Provide a name for your Zap once the test is completed.
- Click 'Publish' to activate your automation and go live.
