Quick summary
The Intercom–Slack integration lets support teams receive and act on Intercom conversations directly inside Slack channels, eliminating context-switching. Setting it up takes under two minutes through the Intercom App Store and a one-click OAuth authorization flow.
Steps
- Go to the left-side panel and click Settings.
- Choose Integrations from the list of options.
- Tap App Store to proceed to the integrations marketplace.
- Search for Slack and select it from the suggested results.
- Click Install Now and log into your active Slack account.
- Click Authorize Access to begin the OAuth connection.
- Click Allow to grant the required permissions and continue.
- Your Intercom account is now fully integrated with Slack.
