The Intercom–Shopify integration lets support teams view and act on Shopify order data directly inside the Intercom inbox. You can set it up in minutes by installing the Shopify app from Intercom's App Store and authorizing access.
Steps
- Head over to the left-side panel and click Settings.
- Choose Integrations from the list of options.
- Tap App Store to proceed to the integrations marketplace.
- Search for Shopify and select it from the suggested results.
- Click Install Now on the Shopify app listing page.
- Enter your Shopify store URL into the input field, then click Connect and log into your active account.
- Click Install to confirm the installation on the Shopify side.
- Tap Authorize Access to accept the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
- Your Intercom account is now integrated with Shopify and ready to use.
