This tutorial shows how to integrate Intercom with Notion by building a Zap in Zapier that automatically sends Intercom trigger events as entries into a connected Notion page. Once configured, the automation runs live without manual input, keeping your Notion workspace in sync with Intercom activity.
Steps
- Go to the left-side panel and click Create.
- Choose Zaps from the list of options.
- Click the Trigger tab to start the integration process.
- Search for Intercom and select it from the suggested results.
- Specify your preferred Trigger Event using the drop-down menu.
- Click Sign In and log in to your Intercom account.
- Click Authorize Access to accept the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
- Tap Test Trigger to run your input.
- Pick the record you wish to use, then click Continue With Selected Record.
- Search for Notion and select it as the Action app.
- Click the drop-down menu and select the Action Event you prefer to use.
- Click Sign In and log in to your active Notion account.
- Review the required permissions, then click Select Pages to proceed.
- Choose the Notion page you want to connect, then tap Allow Access.
- Fill out the input fields one by one with the required information.
- Click Continue to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Intercom account is now integrated with Notion and your Zap is live.
