How to Edit a Trigger in Klaviyo

In Klaviyo, you cannot directly edit a flow trigger on a live flow — instead, you clone the flow and assign a new trigger during the cloning process. This step-by-step walkthrough shows exactly how to locate your flow, clone it, and set a new trigger from the Klaviyo dashboard.


Steps

  1. Navigate to the left-side panel and click Flows.
  2. Find the flow containing the trigger you want to edit, then click the More Options button next to it.
  3. Select Clone from the options menu to proceed.
  4. Under the Clone to This Account tab, enter your preferred cloned flow name in the input field and click Continue.
  5. Open the Trigger menu to view available trigger options.
  6. Select the new trigger you want to assign to the cloned flow.
  7. Review your selections and click Clone Flow to confirm.
  8. A confirmation message will appear indicating the cloned flow has been created successfully with the updated trigger.
