Link triggers in Kit let you automatically perform an action whenever a subscriber clicks a specific URL inside your emails. By setting up a rule under Automations, you can tag subscribers, add them to sequences, or trigger other workflows based on their click behavior.
Steps
- Navigate to the Automations section from the Kit dashboard.
- Select Rules from the Automations menu.
- Click + New rule to create a new automation rule.
- Under Trigger, select Clicks a link as the trigger type.
- Provide a descriptive name for your link trigger.
- Paste the destination URL into the empty field.
- Select the action you want to happen when the link is clicked.
- Click Save to finalize your link trigger.
