This tutorial shows how to create an automated welcome email in Kit (formerly ConvertKit) using the Sequences feature. By the end, new subscribers will automatically receive a personalized onboarding email as soon as they join your list.
Steps
- Go to the Send tab in the Kit dashboard.
- Select Sequences from the navigation menu.
- Click + New Sequence to start building your sequence.
- Choose a template for your new sequence.
- Inside the sequence editor, click on the first email and add a subject line.
- Write a friendly, engaging message introducing yourself and your brand.
- Customize the send time for the welcome email.
- Click Preview to verify your automation email looks correct.
- Click Publish to activate the sequence so new subscribers receive the email automatically.
