How to Create a Workflow in Customer.io

Customer.io uses a visual workflow builder to automate your customer journeys. Follow these simplified steps to get your first campaign running.

1. On your Customer.io main dashboard, click Campaigns in the left sidebar.
2. Start building a new campaign by clicking on the Create Campaign button.
3. Click Untitled at the top-left to name your campaign.
4. Click the Trigger block at the very center of the visual canvas.
5. Define your specific Trigger Conditions and click Save and build workflow.
6. Drag and drop your desired blocks onto the canvas to map out your journey.
7. Choose the Date Attribute you want to use (like contract_end_date) from the dropdown menu.
8. Click the Start Campaign button to confirm your audience settings.
9. Click again on Start Campaign to officially launch the automation.
