How to Create a Table of Contents in Coda

‍

To create a Table of Contents (TOC) in Coda, follow these steps:

‍

  1. Open your Coda document where you want to add a table of contents.
  2. Place your cursor at the spot where you'd like your Table of Contents to appear.
  3. Click the + icon in the left margin or use the / command to open the menu.
  4. Type 'Table of Contents' in the search bar and select 'Outline' from the options that appear.
  5. Coda will automatically generate a clickable Table of Contents based on all your document's headings.
  6. Your Table of Contents will update automatically as you add or change headings in your document.
