How to Create a Campaign in Customer io

Customer.io uses a visual workflow builder to automate your customer journeys. Follow these simplified steps to get your first campaign running.

1. On your Customer.io main dashboard, click Campaigns in the left sidebar.
2. Start building a new campaign by clicking on the Create Campaign button.
3. Click Untitled at the top-left to name your campaign.
4. Click Add Description or Add Tags below the name to help your team categorize the campaign. (Optional)
5. Click the Trigger block at the very center of the visual canvas.
6. Select your Trigger Type from the sidebar, or click Templates to choose from a library of pre-built automation journeys.
7. Define your specific Trigger Conditions and click Start Campaign.
8. Click Review & Start in the top-right corner to Review your campaign for any missing links or logic errors.
9. Click again on Start Campaign to officially launch the automation.
