Quick summary
This demo shows how to integrate Marketo with Slack using a Zapier Zap so that every new Marketo form submission automatically sends a Slack channel message. It takes just a few minutes to configure the trigger, connect both accounts, and publish the automation.
Steps
- Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar to start building a new Zap.
- Click on the Trigger to define the trigger event for your Zap.
- Select Marketo from the listed apps as your trigger app.
- Set the Trigger event to New form submission.
- Click on Account to connect your Marketo account.
- Sign in to Marketo and enter your Client ID, Client secret, and Account ID in the pop-up.
- Select your Action event to define what happens after the trigger fires.
- Search for Slack as the action app.
- Choose Send channel message as the Action for Slack.
- Connect your Slack account if it is not already connected.
- Click Publish to activate and establish the Marketo–Slack connection.
