Quick summary
This demo shows how to connect Greenhouse and Slack using Zapier so your team gets an automatic Slack channel message every time a new candidate application is submitted in Greenhouse. Setting up this Zap takes just a few minutes and requires no coding.
Steps
- Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar to start building a new Zap.
- Click on the Trigger to define the trigger event for your Zap.
- Select Greenhouse from the listed apps as your trigger app.
- Set the Trigger event to New Candidate Application.
- Click on Account to connect your Greenhouse account.
- Enter your Greenhouse API Key and hit Yes, Continue to authenticate.
- Select your Action event to define what happens after the trigger fires.
- Search for Slack as the action app.
- Choose Send channel message as the Action for Slack.
- Connect your Slack account if it is not already connected.
- Click Publish to activate the Zap and establish the Greenhouse–Slack connection.
