Quick summary
The Appcues Slack integration lets you automatically send a Slack channel message whenever a user triggers an Appcues event, such as Checklist Dismissed, by building a Zap in Zapier without writing any code.
Steps
- Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar in Zapier to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger block to define the trigger event for your Zap.
- Select Appcues from the list of available apps as your trigger source.
- Choose Checklist Dismissed as the trigger event in Appcues.
- Click on Account to connect your Appcues account to Zapier.
- Sign in to your Appcues account in the pop-up by entering your Account ID, API Key, and Secret.
- Select your Action event to define what happens when the trigger fires.
- Search for Slack as the action app in the Zapier editor.
- Choose Send Channel Message as the Action for Slack.
- Connect your Slack account if it is not already linked to Zapier.
- Click Publish to activate the Zap and establish the Appcues–Slack connection.
