How to Change Slack Channel Name?

Only channel owners can change the channel's name. If a particular channel has been created by someone else, you won't be able to rename it.

Here's how the process looks like,

1. Select the channel that you'd like to rename from the list.
2. Click on the channel name in the conversation header.
3. Next to Channel name, click edit option.
4. Change the name of the channel and click 'Save Changes’.
