How to Add the Intercom Messenger to Your Website

It is very easy to add the Intercom messenger to your website via a code snippet. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:

  1. Head over to the left-side panel and click 'Settings'.
  2. Choose 'Channels' from the list of options.
  3. Subsequently, tap 'Messenger' to proceed.
  4. Click the 'Install' tab.
  5. Under Install For Web, select 'Code Snippet' from the choices.
  6. Following that, tap 'For Website Visitors Without Logins'.
  7. Choose the specific type of code snippet you want to use.
  8. Subsequently, find the generated code snippet and tap the 'Copy Code' option next to it. Paste the code into your website based on the given instruction.
  9. Repeat the same series of steps for each code snippet provided.
  10. Once done, click 'Check Installation' to run and activate the codes.
  11. After completing these steps, the Intercom messenger will be added to your website.
