You can add contractors in Gusto to manage payments and generate tax forms such as 1099s.
- Sign in to your Gusto admin account.
- Head to People to manage your team.
- Click Add person to bring someone new on board.
- Enter the first name, last name, and email address of the person you are adding.
- Select Contractor (individual) as the type of user you want to add.
- Add their personal email so they can access their account.
- Click Save and continue to proceed with onboarding.
- Select the pay schedule that works for this employee, and click Save and continue to finish.
