Quick summary
This demo shows how to sync Notion pages with PostgreSQL using a Zapier automation — no code required. By connecting a Notion trigger to a PostgreSQL action, any new or updated database item in Notion is automatically written as a row in your PostgreSQL table.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin building your automation.
- Click "Trigger" to set up the starting point of your Zap.
- Search for Notion in the app search and select it as your trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event such as "New Database Item" or "New Page Created".
- Connect your Notion account to authorize Zapier access.
- Select the Notion database or workspace you want Zapier to monitor.
- Run a test to confirm Zapier correctly detects the new page.
- Add PostgreSQL as the Action App in your Zap.
- Select an action event such as "New Row" or "Update Row" for PostgreSQL.
- Connect PostgreSQL, map Notion fields to the corresponding columns, run a final test, and click "Publish" to activate your Zap.
