Quick summary
This tutorial shows how to connect Stripe and Google Calendar using Zapier so that payment events automatically create calendar bookings. The Zap automation eliminates manual data entry by mapping Stripe charge data directly to Google Calendar event fields.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin building your automation.
- Click "Trigger" to start configuring the trigger step of your Zap.
- Search for Stripe and select it as your trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event, such as "New Charge", to define what kicks off the Zap.
- Connect your Stripe account and configure the settings, such as the specific event or charge you want to monitor.
- Add Google Calendar as the Action App in your Zap.
- Select an action event, such as "Create Detailed Event" or "Create Event", to define what happens in Google Calendar.
- Connect your Google Calendar account to authorize the integration.
- Map the fields from Stripe — such as customer name, amount, and description — to the corresponding Google Calendar event fields like title, date, and description.
- Run a test to verify the integration works correctly before going live.
- Click "Publish" to activate your Zap and start automating.
