This tutorial shows how to sync Discord to Shortcut by building an automated Zap in Zapier that triggers on Discord activity and creates or updates records in Shortcut without manual effort. Steps
- Navigate to the left-side panel in Zapier and click Create.
- Choose Zaps from the list of options.
- Tap the Trigger tab to start the integration process.
- Search for Discord and select it from the suggested results as the Trigger app.
- Specify your preferred Trigger Event for Discord.
- Tap Sign In and log into your active Discord account.
- Select the Discord server you wish to use, then click Continue.
- Tick the checkboxes beside the permissions you wish to allow, then click Authorize.
- Provide the information needed to set up the Trigger configuration fields.
- Click Continue to run your input and test the Trigger.
- Choose the record you wish to use and click Continue With Selected Record.
- Search for Shortcut and select it as the Action app.
- Click the drop-down menu and pick the specific Action Event you wish to execute in Shortcut.
- Tap Sign In to connect your Shortcut account.
- Enter the API token associated with your Shortcut account, then click Yes, Continue to Shortcut.
- Fill out each input field one by one with the required integration details.
- Click Continue to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Discord account is now synced to Shortcut based on your configured inputs.
