Open the extension view in VS code by clicking the gear icon.
From the menu, select 'Extensions'.

Choose and select 'Allow' to continue.

Once installed , click your profile icon.
Select 'Sign in to use AI features'.
Choose and select how to sign in.
Then, click 'Continue' to confirm.
