📌 Why this matters

Setting up GitHub Copilot transforms VS Code into an AI pair programmer that suggests entire functions, not just snippets. You'll write code faster through contextual completions that understand your project's patterns and conventions.

The real advantage emerges when working on complex logic or unfamiliar APIs – Copilot draws from millions of repositories to suggest solutions you might not consider. This creates a learning loop where you absorb new coding approaches while maintaining productivity, essentially giving you access to collective programming knowledge at the moment you need it.
