Here’s a simple and quick guide on how to send a file in Adobe InDesign using Adobe Creative Cloud or third-party apps like Gmail:

  1. To send a file in Adobe InDesign, select 'Save As' from the File menu to save your document in InDesign format (.indd).
  2. When the dialog box appears, choose whether to save your file to Adobe Creative Cloud or to your local computer, then click 'Save' to continue.
  3. For Adobe Creative Cloud, open your cloud account and go to your Libraries. Then, right-click the file you want to share and choose to share via a link or invite collaborators.‍
  4. To send the saved file via email or other apps, simply attach the .indd file
