How to Segment Subscribers ConvertKit

Use this interactive demo to learn how to create and filter subscriber segments in ConvertKit.

Quick summary

Segmenting subscribers in ConvertKit lets you group your audience based on specific criteria so you can send more targeted, relevant emails. This guide walks you through creating a custom segment with filters directly from the Subscribers dashboard.


Steps

  1. Go to the Grow tab in your ConvertKit dashboard.
  2. Select Subscribers from the navigation menu.
  3. Click Create a Segment to start building a new segment.
  4. Enter a segment name in the empty name field.
  5. Click Add Filter to begin defining your segment criteria.
  6. Customize your filter settings and click Add Filter to apply them.
  7. Click Save to finalize and store your segment.
  8. Your subscribers are now grouped based on the multiple criteria you defined.
