Renaming lists allows you to update your project titles as your goals evolve, ensuring your sidebar stays accurate and organized.
- On your Microsoft 365 main dashboard, click the App launcher in the upper-left corner.
- From the app list, select To Do to open Microsoft To Do.
- Locate the list name you want to change in the left-hand sidebar.
- Click directly on the list name at the very top of the main task window to highlight the text.
- Type a new title to replace the old one and press Enter on your keyboard to save it immediately.
