Automating Microsoft To Do and OneNote via Zapier bridges your web notes and task list, instantly generating tasks from new notes.
- Go to zapier.com and sign in (or sign up for free).
- Click Create > Zaps in the left panel to start a new Zap.
- Click Trigger to define what kicks off this workflow.
- Search for and select Microsoft To Do as your trigger application.
- Click Sign in to connect your Microsoft To Do account.
- Under Trigger event, choose from the dropdown list.
- Click Continue with selected record to proceed with this setup.
- Search for and select Microsoft OneNote as your action app.
- Click Connect Microsoft account and sign in to your Microsoft account when the pop-up window appears.
- Choose your Action Event from the dropdown menu, such as Create Note in Section or Append Note to Section.
- Map Task Title to Note Title and Task Note to Note Content.
- Click Test & Publish to activate the link.
- You’re all set! Your tasks will now automatically populate your OneNote notebook as new pages.
