In Adobe InDesign, text is normally vector-based, but you can rasterize it the same way as other objects—by exporting it as a high-resolution image. Here’s how:
- To rasterize text in Adobe InDesign, select or create your text in a text box. and export your file by going to 'File' → 'Export.'
- Choose your document format as JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. Then click 'Save' once done.
- In the Export JPEG dialog, set a high resolution (e.g., 300 ppi for print). Then, click 'Export' to convert the text into pixels, making it no longer editable as text and turning it into a raster image.
