Steps

  1. From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start a new automation.
  2. Search and select Notion as your trigger app.
  3. Select a trigger event to define what action in Notion starts the Zap.
  4. Connect your Notion account to authorize Zapier access.
  5. Map your trigger details and click Continue to proceed.
  6. Click Test trigger to verify the Notion connection returns sample data.
  7. Search and select Mixpanel as your action app.
  8. Select an action event to define what Mixpanel does when the Zap runs.
  9. Connect your Mixpanel account to authorize Zapier access.
  10. Configure the action details and click Continue to finalize the mapping.
  11. Select Test step to confirm the Mixpanel action executes correctly.
  12. Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your live Zap.

📌 Why this matters

Connecting Mixpanel to Notion via Zapier eliminates manual data exports by automatically pushing product analytics events into a structured Notion database the moment they occur. This no-code integration keeps your entire team aligned — PMs, marketers, and analysts can view up-to-date Mixpanel event data directly inside Notion without switching tools. By automating this workflow with Zapier, teams reduce reporting lag, minimize human error, and free up time previously spent on copy-pasting data between platforms. For product-led teams that rely on Mixpanel for behavioral analytics and Notion for documentation and project tracking, this Zap is a foundational piece of a modern, automated data stack.
