How to Optimize Mailchimp for Mobile

Use this interactive demo to learn how to optimize a Mailchimp email campaign for mobile devices.

Quick summary

This tutorial shows how to optimize a Mailchimp email for mobile devices by creating a regular email and adjusting mobile style settings such as padding and typography. Marketers can use the Mobile tab in the Style section to fine-tune how emails render on smartphones before sending.


Steps

  1. In the left column of your dashboard, hit Create to start a new campaign.
  2. Select Regular email to create a standard email campaign.
  3. In the Style section on the left, click on the Mobile tab to access mobile-specific design settings.
  4. Click on Email to alter the Padding for mobile layout.
  5. Select Text to edit the typography settings, including Paragraph, H1, H2, H3, and H4 styles.
  6. Hit Save and exit to apply your mobile optimizations and continue.
