How To Lookup Guest Post Opportunites on Ahrefs

This demo shows how to use Ahrefs Content Explorer to discover guest post opportunities by filtering sites with strong Domain Rating and website traffic. By sorting results by number of authors, you can quickly identify publications most likely to accept guest contributors.

Steps

1. Navigate to Content Explorer from the Ahrefs dashboard.
2. Enter your focus keyword in the search bar and set the Published date filter to 90 days.
3. Add your first filter: Domain Rating (DR) to narrow results by site authority.
4. Set the desired DR range — a value of 30–60 is a recommended starting point.
5. Add a second filter for Website traffic to target sites with real audiences.
6. Set a minimum traffic threshold of 5K, adjusting based on your keyword's search demand.
7. Click the Websites tab to view the top 100 sites matching your search query.
8. Sort the results by the Authors column — sites with more authors are more likely to accept guest posts.
