How to Log Out of 1Password

This tutorial shows how to lock 1Password from the browser extension and how to sign out of your account on 1Password.com.

Note: Locking 1Password from the browser extension hides your vault but keeps your account linked to the extension. Signing out on 1password.com removes your session entirely. Use the sign-out option if you're on a shared or public computer.

1. Click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar to open the extension. Click the account menu in the top-left corner of the pop-up.
2. Select Lock 1Password. The extension is now locked and will require your account password to unlock again.

To sign out of your account on 1Password.com:

      3.Go to your main console screen, click your account name in the top-right corner of the page, then select Sign Out from the dropdown. You are now fully signed out       of your 1Password account on this browser.
