This demo shows how to integrate Slack with Facebook Messenger using Zapier by creating an automated Zap that triggers on Slack events and sends messages through Facebook Messenger. Steps
- Click 'Create' and select 'Zap' to start a new automation in Zapier.
- Click 'Trigger' to begin setting up the trigger step.
- Search and select 'Slack' as the trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event based on your requirements.
- Log in and authorize Zapier to access your Slack account.
- Click 'Test trigger' so Zapier pulls sample data from Slack to verify the setup.
- Search and select 'Facebook Messenger' as the action app.
- Select the event for your action app.
- Input your Facebook credentials and click 'Log in' to authorize access.
- Select 'Save' to confirm your Facebook Messenger account connection.
- Confirm the successful Facebook Messenger integration with Zapier.
- Click 'Continue' to proceed to the next configuration step.
- Map the data from Facebook Messenger to Slack, including the page, recipient ID, and text, then click 'Continue'.
- Click 'Test step' to verify the action works correctly.
- Name your Zap to keep your automations organized.
- Click 'Publish' to turn on your Zap and enable the live integration.
