Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect your WhatsApp Business number to Intercom.

Quick summary

Integrating Intercom with WhatsApp lets support teams receive and respond to WhatsApp messages directly inside the Intercom inbox. The setup takes just a few clicks by connecting your WhatsApp Business number through Intercom's Channels settings via Facebook authentication.


Steps

  1. Head over to the left-side panel and click Settings.
  2. Choose Channels from the list of options.
  3. Tap WhatsApp to proceed.
  4. Click Connect WhatsApp Business Number and log in to the Facebook account linked to your WhatsApp account.
  5. Tap Get Started to continue.
  6. Tap Continue to accept the terms and enable the integration between the two platforms.
