How to Integrate Intercom Into a Website Using Code Snippets

‍

‍

The simplest way to integrate Intercom into a website is by adding its messenger using code snippets. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to do it:

‍

  1. Go to the left-side panel, then click 'Settings'.
  2. Select 'Channels' from the list of options.
  3. Subsequently, click 'Messenger' to proceed.
  4. Tap the 'Install' tab.
  5. Following that, select 'Code Snippet' as the installation method.
  6. Choose the specific user access you prefer to set.
  7. Subsequently, click the type of code you want to use.
  8. Find the generated code snippet, then click the 'Copy Code' button next to it. Paste the code into your website.
  9. Repeat the same series of steps if there are multiple sets of snippets that need to be added.
  10. Once done, click 'Check Installation'.
  11. After completing these steps, your Intercom account will be integrated into the selected website via the code snippet.
