Here’s how to integrate GitHub Copilot with MCP:

1. Start by opening VS Code. Click the gear icon at the bottom left to access your extensions view.
2. In the extensions search bar, click the filter icon to narrow down your options.
3. Now select "MCP servers" from the filter dropdown to show only MCP-compatible extensions.
4. Type "@mcp GitHub" in the search bar to find the GitHub MCP server integration.
5. Click on "GitHub" from the search results to open its details page.
6. Hit the "Install" button to add the GitHub MCP server to your Copilot setup.
7. Click "Allow" to authorize the connection between GitHub and Copilot.
