How to Install GitHub Copilot in IntelliJ

To install GitHub Copilot, follow these steps:

1. Open IntelliJ and navigate to 'Settings' to get started.
2. Go to 'Plugins' and search for "GitHub Copilot" in the marketplace.
3. Hit 'Install' to add GitHub Copilot to your IDE.
4. A quick prompt pops up—click 'Accept' to continue.
5. Click 'Restart IDE' to activate the plugin. IntelliJ will pick up right where you left off.
6. Another quick confirmation—click 'Accept' to move forward.
7. Click 'Sign in to GitHub' to connect Copilot with your account.
8. Click 'Copy and Open' to grab your device code and launch the GitHub auth page.
9. Paste the code into the GitHub field and hit 'Continue'.
10. Click 'Authorize GitHub Copilot Plugin' to complete the connection.
11. All set! GitHub Copilot is now ready to assist in your IntelliJ workspace.
