How to File eBay Taxes in TurboTax

Steps

1. Open your TurboTax account and go to the Federal section in the sidebar menu.
2. Click Income from the left-hand list.
3. Go to Self-employment and click Start to begin the self-employment income section.
4. Click "Add another line of work" to add your eBay selling activity.
5. Enter the type of self-employment work you do and proceed.
6. Select the best description for your work and click Continue.
7. Classify your work and click Continue.
8. In the text field, type your business name.
9. Enter the date you started your business.
10. Add your business expenses by selecting "Enter manually".
11. Choose and select your eBay expenses to reduce your taxes.
12. Once you have selected your expenses, click Done to move forward.
