Quick summary
To delete a response in SurveyMonkey, navigate to Analyze Results, open the Individual Responses section, and use the trash can icon or the arrow menu to permanently remove the selected response. Note that once a response is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Steps
- Open the survey for which you want to delete the response by clicking the ellipsis icon.
- Navigate to Analyze Results to view the collected responses.
- Go to the Individual Responses section.
- Once you are on the response you want to remove, click the trash can icon.
- Alternatively, click the arrow next to the response.
- After clicking the arrow, select Delete next to the response.
- Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete response.
- The response is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered once removed.
