This tutorial shows how to create a social media content calendar in Coda by setting up day-specific pages and integrating them with the Ayrshare Magic pack to publish posts directly to social media platforms. Once connected, you can use Coda's formula panel and the Publish Post button to schedule and distribute content without leaving your doc.
Steps
- Inside your Coda doc, click the Insert button to begin adding a new page for a scheduled social media post.
- Select Page from the list of available insert options.
- Enter a unique page name in the input field, including the posting day in the title for easy organization.
- Type the caption of the social media post directly onto the page.
- Click Insert again in the top-right corner to start integrating the page with your social media handles.
- Use the search bar in the Insert panel and type Ayrshare Magic to find the integration pack.
- Under the More Buttons section, locate Publish Post and drag it to the main workspace below the caption.
- Tap Connect an Account to link your social media account to the Ayrshare Magic pack.
- Enter your Ayrshare Magic API Key in the input field, then click Continue to authenticate.
- Click the Post input field and type an equals sign (=) to open the formula panel.
- Select DocId() from the available formula choices.
- Enter the URL of your Coda doc inside the parentheses and quotation marks, then press Enter to apply.
- Click the Platforms menu, select the social media channels where you want to publish, then press Enter to save.
- Tap the Publish Post button below the caption to send the post live to your connected social media platforms.
