- In Smartsheet's Grid View, select the cell directly below the intended parent row.
- Go to the top menu bar and click the Indent button to make that row a child.

- Click the Indent button twice to move those rows one level deeper in the hierarchy.
- Once complete, a row hierarchy is created in your Smartsheet based on your selections.
