Quick summary
A Notion database lets you organize information as a table, board, calendar, or other view directly inside any page. You can insert a database using a slash command or the block menu, then convert it from an inline view to a full-page database for richer data management.
Steps
- Open a Notion page and choose to insert a database using the slash command or by clicking the options menu at the bottom of the page.
- Click the three-dot menu to explore additional database formats and view types available in Notion.
- Type the slash command (/database) anywhere on a page to search for and insert a database in your preferred format.
- Select the inline database option and click to insert it directly into your current page.
- Your table database is now created. Click the six-dot icon to open the block menu for additional configuration options.
- From the block menu, select the option to turn the inline database into a full page.
- Your inline database converts to a full-page database link. Click the link to open the full-page view.
- You can now insert data, add properties, and manage your Notion database in full-page mode.
