Quick summary
In Notion, every page acts as a folder, allowing you to create nested sub-pages that replicate a traditional folder structure. This demo walks you through creating a new page, naming it, and building a multi-level folder hierarchy using the slash command.
Steps
- Since every page acts as a folder, select New page to start creating your first folder.
- Name your page to give the folder a clear, recognizable title.
- Use the slash command (/page) inside your new page to embed a sub-page and create a subfolder.
- Name your sub-page to identify this nested folder level.
- Continue the loop by using /page again inside the sub-page to create an additional sub-sub-folder, just like nested folders.
- View your complete folders directory in the left sidebar menu to confirm the hierarchy.
