Quick summary
Copying text only in a Miro board lets you extract written content from shapes and flowcharts without carrying over any formatting or graphic elements. You can do this by double-clicking a shape to enter text-edit mode and using a simple keyboard shortcut or the context menu.
Steps
- Open your Miro board and navigate to the flowchart or diagram that contains the text you want to copy.
- Select the object (shape, sticky note, or card) that contains the target text.
- Double-click directly on the text inside the shape to enter edit mode, then press CTRL + C to copy the selected text only.
- Alternatively, click the three-dot menu on the selected object and choose Copy from the context menu.
