The WPForms Slack integration lets you automatically send a Slack channel message every time a new form entry is submitted, using a Zapier Zap. Setting up this automation takes just a few minutes inside the Zapier editor without writing any code.
Steps
- Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar in Zapier to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger step to define the event that starts your Zap.
- Select WPForms from the list of available apps as your trigger app.
- Set the trigger event to New Form Entry to fire the Zap when a form is submitted.
- Click on Account to connect your WPForms account to Zapier.
- Enter your WPForms website info in the pop-up and click Agree, Continue to authorize the connection.
- Select your Action step to define what happens after the trigger fires.
- Search for Slack as the action app.
- Choose Send Channel Message as the Action event for the Slack integration.
- Connect your Slack account if it is not already linked to Zapier.
- Click Publish to activate the Zap and establish the live WPForms to Slack connection.
