How to Connect LiveChat to Slack

This demo shows how to integrate LiveChat with Slack using a Zapier Zap, so your team receives an automatic Slack channel message every time a new LiveChat conversation starts.

Steps

1. Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar to start building a new Zap.
2. Click on the Trigger to define the trigger event for your Zap.
3. Select LiveChat from the listed apps as your trigger app.
4. Set the Trigger event to New Chat.
5. Click on Account to connect your LiveChat account.
6. Sign in to your LiveChat account in the pop-up using your Email and Personal Access Token.
7. Select your Action event to define what happens after the trigger fires.
8. Search for Slack as the action app.
9. Choose Send channel message as the Action event.
10. Connect your Slack account if it is not already connected.
11. Click Publish to activate the integration and establish the LiveChat–Slack connection.
