Quick summary

This tutorial shows how to connect Dropbox Sign (formerly HelloSign) to Dropbox using a Zapier automation, so that signed documents are automatically saved to your Dropbox folder without any manual work. In just a few steps, you can create a Zap that triggers on a Dropbox Sign event and performs an action in Dropbox.

  4. Search for 'Dropbox Sign' and select it from the suggested results as the Trigger app.
  5. Specify your preferred 'Trigger Event' from the dropdown.
  6. Click 'Sign In' to connect your Dropbox Sign account.
  7. Enter your Dropbox Sign credentials and tap 'Yes, Continue to Dropbox Sign' to authorize the connection.
  8. Click 'Test Trigger' to validate your input.
  9. Click 'Continue' to proceed to the Action step.
  10. Search for 'Dropbox' and select it as the Action app.
  11. Open the drop-down menu and pick the specific 'Action Event' you want to use.

  14. Fill out all required input fields with the necessary information one by one.
  15. Tap 'Continue' to publish and enable the integration.
  16. Your Dropbox Sign account is now instantly connected to Dropbox via Zapier.

📌 Why this matters

Connecting Dropbox Sign (formerly HelloSign) to Dropbox via Zapier eliminates the manual step of downloading and re-uploading signed documents, saving teams significant time on contract management workflows. This no-code automation ensures that every completed signature request is instantly stored in the correct Dropbox folder, reducing the risk of lost files and compliance gaps. For businesses that rely on high volumes of e-signatures, automating this handoff between Dropbox Sign and Dropbox means faster deal cycles, better document organization, and a fully auditable record of signed agreements.
