Steps
- Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar in Zapier to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger to define what event will start the Zap.
- Select DocSend from the listed apps as your trigger application.
- Set the trigger event to New Visit so the Zap fires on each new DocSend document visit.
- Click on Account to connect your DocSend account to Zapier.
- Log in to your DocSend account to authorize the connection.
- Select your Action event to define what happens after the trigger fires.
- Search for Slack as the action app in the Zap editor.
- Choose Send channel message as the Slack action to notify your team automatically.
- Connect your Slack account if it is not already linked to Zapier.
- Click Publish to activate the Zap and establish the live DocSend–Slack connection.
